I don't know about you guys, and sure thing, there are lots of things, I don't mind sharing with you all (or rather the opposite, it makes me happy to share them :D) , or with some of you - when flocked -, but then, there are also things, I don't want to share with anyone, not flist, not family, not the 3 people, I call my best friends in RL.

So, what's a girl to do? who is online the entire day, but doesn't work at one computer? (which therefor rules out the option of some desktop diary application).

I just this week was pimping makeuseof.com to blue_meridian, and damn that site? is awesome. In May, they had this introduction for Penzu:

There are limitations however, as this application is not meant (and never will be) for people to share their stuff widely. If you need a personal diary application though you will find Penzu very helpful and easy to use

one of the most awesome features for me, is the autosave function, similar to gmail: I write and write, and look away, or went to another tab, or are distracted because I change my music, or look for food&drinks, or a call..whatever..autosave every 10 seconds :D

and one single greatest feature? of course, that I don't have to care about flist, userinfo, and whatsoever.
Its my private LJ for my thoughts, my anger, and my happiness, not interrupted by any fannish posts (of course, I could theoretically use LJ privatized entries, but i decided against it, because of all other things in between).

Among the oceans of web2.0 applications, that are out for userdata, and collaborating, and collecting, and vids and music, and mashups and sharing? this is heaven!

also, in case you were curious:
I write there completely in German. i may be more or less good in English, and capable of a few other languages.
But my dreams, were and still are, in German *g*.

So, after yesterday, gracefully (and promptly totally tripped over myself, of course *g*) stepping back with the consent of tmelange from ollieville as chief promoter and pimper ;D , I have taken up that job for olliesqueens, together with svgurl.

ollieville now being well known, and with the return of Ollie in S8, tmelange has refocussed the com to slash only, and will hopefully with the start of the new season , have lots of wonderful ideas to work with for Ollie there :D

Regarding olliesqueens, we are still looking for some pretty banner, so if anyone has some awesome manip skills or would suggest any banner that they saw, you are welcome to pimp it to me or svgurl.

And of course, joining olliesqueens (its a het and gen com!! thats very important, and something i -- uhh-- forgot for a sec. must be the pretty and its effects on my short term memory..)!!!

each and every damn single player there was worth their 35 million €, that they get annually!
Lord, if even I can see, how good they are, and how bad my own team was, with my usually completely clueless soccer-eyes, that has to mean, they had to be exceptionally good and my team being exceptionally bad :D

OK; its probably as existent as the holy grail, but I promised, i would try, so here it comes:
has anyone of you ever managed to find an easy way to convert the fics that you wrote in doc., or whatever you have had as a default writing program, into the txt format, with all the strange formatting rules, that SSA is requiring?

So , in Germany, for going online via broadband, most providers are bundling their DSL/Phone/mobile flatrate packages with a router named Fritzbox from a company called AVM (

so, I really was very quick yesterday, and got the episode Quest.
all the heavy religious symbolism totally is a turn off for me.
Not just turn off, but in way I cannot explain yet, I find that all repulsive. I know that lots and lots of shows and movies are playing on the "the one" and "the savior" religious theme and such, like matrix, but watching through Quest , it was unbearable.
Not even lex could make me happy.
how will I be, if he is totally not in the series anymore?

I have never felt with such a certainty, that the later SV seasons and me, we have no destiny together.
maybe its time to move on.
ETA: to clarify, I mean, I move on to watch other shows!!! weee, finally they are airing new eps of cold case, 24, and damages is also aired, and eureka and moonlight is coming! my summer is saved!

I will share the fics ,if the author is ok with that.
If they don't want their fics to be shared, you will also see it being mentioned.
There is nearly always an author or their LJ account given.
In doubt, and if the fic is flocked, go and ask the author, if you really want to read that fic.
